On June 14-16 Poltava hosted All-Ukrainian competitions in mini-football among inmates of boarding schools for orphans

On June 14-16, 2011 in Poltava, All-Ukrainian competitions in mini-football took place among pupils of boarding schools for orphans and children, who are registered with the internal affairs bodies under the patronage of the "Paulichen Brothers Fund". The organizers of the preparation and holding of the competitions were the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine and Regional structural units, as well as the Poltava Regional Public Organization "The Paulichen Brothers Fund".
In a tense struggle for the first place, young football players from the boarding school of the city of Skadovsk, Kherson region, won. For the second place two teams fought: the Mariinsky boarding school of the Donetsk region and the Pavlograd boarding school in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The football team of the Mariinskaya boarding school scored more successfully. She also took the second prize place, in the third place ousted the team of Pavlograd. The fourth and fifth places were occupied, respectively, by the teams of the Poltava boarding school No. 1 and the Kerch boarding school. The nomination "Best Goalkeeper", according to the decision of the judges, was awarded to Alexei Ermolenko (Mariinsky Boarding School of Donetsk region); "The best defender" - Sergei Akufenko (Poltava boarding school № 1); "Best striker" - Alexei Bulgakov (Skadovskaya boarding school); Sergei Stryuchenko (Kerch) received the "Audience Choice Award". The coach of the Skadovsk Boarding School, Igor Valerievich Rzhautsky, won the "Best Coach" nomination.
