The legendary veterans of the Second World War

The collective of the PO "Pavlichenko Brothers Fund" congratulated Klavdia Omelyanivna Levchenko on her birthday. She is a legendary pilot of PO-2, a participant of the Great Patriotic War. On the 21th of January she will become 93 years old. She went to the front when she was 17 years old. This woman survived the horror of the war, raised three children, inspired younger generation by her exploits and her life. When we asked why she decided to go to the front at such a young age, attributing two more years to her age, Claudia Omelianivna answered: "We were very patriotic. Our country was like our life for us!"
