What is an inner core?
The inner core of a person is a kind of inner reference point, an inner feeling of "truth", integrity, total self-confidence. It is based on deep values, value meanings, one's own worldview system, moral and ethical qualities, and an internal mood. Faith, hope, love (in the broad sense of the word) are constant companions of this feeling.
In some article it was once written that the inner core is an alloy of will to live and belief in oneself, firmness and flexibility at the same time. Yes, this is not a rigid feeling, it is a constant movement of self-knowledge under possible changing conditions.
The inner core is what helps a person to withstand and overcome life's difficulties, helps to move towards the fulfillment of goals and life tasks. At the same time, the willingness to grow and develop remains.
Self-reliance is the basis for making life decisions in accordance with your inner values and preferences: what I want to do, with whom I want to live, etc. To do this, you need an understanding of your own desires and a system of understanding internal guidelines (at least what is good and what is bad for me personally).
Self-reliance begins with the desire to be yourself, understanding yourself, your meanings, feelings, thoughts, actions, manifesting yourself, trusting yourself. This is the path to individualization.
The man with the inner core
We always feel such people, even if outwardly they are no different from those around them. A feeling of calmness and reliability appears next to them.
These people know how to "hear themselves", have good intuition and faith in themselves.
They live as they see fit. And these are just not words, but the philosophy of their existence. They are Creators, Authors of their lives, Doers. They are confident in themselves, know what they want, know how to find solutions and the best way out of different situations. Such people take responsibility if they understand that they will cope with it, and do not undertake what is beyond their strength, but they can calmly say about it. That is, they are honest with themselves and others. They are quick to learn, flexible and more easily cope with difficulties, independent of the opinions of others. They are not bored with themselves, as they feel filled (with meanings).
And, finally, they are sufficiently objective, flexible and fearless to find “truth”, “commonality of all things,” to get to the bottom of what is happening. They have an internal adequate criticality and the ability to consider any event, information, phenomenon from different angles.
But having an inner core and having good self-reliance does not mean being perfect. Often such a person does not even think about it. He just follows his values. For him, perfection is not important. For him, something much more important - creation and self-realization.
