Miracle of Baptism

This story happened on the eve of the feast of the Epiphany in a faraway Kazakhstan town. After undergoing a severe operation in intensive care, a three-year-old girl, Dasha, died. She could not breathe on her own after three days of bleeding, so she was hooked up to an artificial respiration apparatus. Relatives of the girl were shocked, and this is understandable - how can one accept the fact that the little man is now fading away like a candle. Doctors shrugged their shoulders and did not give any predictions about Dasha's health.
Of all the numerous relatives, only Dasha's aunt Lyubov, who lived a thousand kilometers away from her beloved niece in the Siberian city of Yugorsk, was truly churched. The news of Dashin's condition caught Lyuba at the end of the working day, and from that moment on, the invaluable time of earthly life, as if accelerated her pace. At first, strong emotions flooded over, but Lyuba, a strong-willed woman, was used to solving the most complex tasks in her life. Therefore, the first thing that was already calmly thought about was to urgently baptize the child. The soul is on the threshold of Eternity, what could be more important? What will she face before the Lord? It is a shame that Dasha's mother, Tatyana herself, was not baptized and did not intend to baptize her daughter, telling everyone that she was not ready for this step. “No one will be allowed into the intensive care unit!” Said Lyuba’s sister on the phone. But I heard a decisive answer: “God is stronger than all!”
But how to implement this plan, being hundreds of miles from your beloved niece? To help Luba came two childhood friends, two Svets, with whom she always kept in touch. Without delay, the sisters in Christ rushed to help, looking for a priest who would have agreed to urgently perform the sacrament. I must say that half a year before this event, the father of one of her friends died in the same intensive care unit, and she didn’t try to achieve it, but they didn’t allow the priest to come to him.
Fortunately, the Lord sent Father Constantine, a young red-bearded priest, to the sick girl. Arriving at the hospital, in the doorway, they took the first "fight". One of the friends stayed in the car, praying fervently for Dasha. Father Konstantin and the second Sveta were persistently asked to let in, then for some reason the nurse asked Sveta: “Are you a grandmother?” I had to say that my grandmother, what to do? And it worked! Here they are already going up to the intensive care unit, coming to the door, and there ...
Father Constantine and Sveta saw at the door of the intensive care unit completely exhausted, on the verge of insanity, Dasha's mother. Tanya recognized Sveta, but didn’t react at all, but only mumbled all the time from hopelessness, awaiting the “sentence” in horror.
The manager ran out to meet the visitors and with a cry went to Tatiana: “Do not allow them to baptize the child! Do not let ass to your daughter! He will baptize, and your child will die !!! ”Father Constantine stood aside and prayed. Suddenly, Sveta resolutely went to the head, and as if echoing her intonation through her teeth, said: “Let the priest go to the girl! Give the child a christen !!! ”The head shouted something in response, but Sveta did not retreat and insistently shouted:“ Let the child christen! ”It was the same Sveta whose father died in this intensive care unit without repentance and Communion. Apparently the flood of memories of this tragedy gave the Light the strength to persistently demand and achieve the goal. And the manager with an annoyance gave up a hand - “Do what you want ...”.
Without losing a minute, Father Constantine rushed to the aching girl. Having fulfilled his priestly duty, Father Constantine returned, being impressed by what he saw. He said that Dasha is connected to the artificial respiration apparatus, she does not breathe at all, does not move, the pressure is 60/40, lies like a cane — a thin little white one ...
At the same time, Lyuba asked for prayer help from all who could be asked. Orthodox groups in social networks, familiar and unfamiliar brothers and sisters in Christ — all prayed with one breath, a large group of prayer help stood up for joint prayer, read the Akathist to the Virgin, “Fast-Hearted” ...
And two hours after her baptism, Dasha had a sudden breath back, much to the surprise of the doctors, the girl breathed on her own. But no one yet knew about this, the doctors were silent, God knows for what reason. And in the morning Dasha came out of the coma, woke up and immediately asked for a toy and a meal. It was a real baptismal miracle!
When dad came to visit Dasha in the ward, she told him as if by the way: “Daddy, you know, and an uncle came to me with a beard and a large cross. And for some reason he put a small cross on me. And next to me were two big white angels with wings! ”
No one can understand how a three-year-old girl could, while in a coma, see everything that was happening to her! Verily - the God of all is stronger!
All this happened on the night of January 18-19, 2017.
