Christian School of Spirituality and Goodness
"Pedagogy is not a science, but an art - the most extensive, complex, highest and most necessary of all arts. The art of education is based on science. As an art complex and extensive, it is based on many vast and complex sciences; and inclinations, and as art it strives for the ideal, eternally attainable and never completely unattainable: the ideal of a perfect man "

A new Christian general education school for children from Orthodox families began work this fall. The director and founder of the school is the priest of the Holy Trinity Iona Monastery, Archpriest Grigory Kryzhanovsky.
The school's pedagogy is based on a holistic view that embraces the physical and mental aspects of human nature, i.e. a person is considered as a subject of education. And the position of a mentor is to help with mastering the subject, accustoming pupils to mental work, developing their work habits, and the opportunity to experience pleasure from their work.
The school teaches interesting subjects such as calligraphy, technology and design. Children learn to write with a pen, work with their hands in labor lessons, learn to take care of plants and animals.

With the help of the PA “Pavlichenko Brothers Fund”, teaching aids for teachers were purchased for the school. For children, books, notebooks, copybooks, inkpots and pens, calculating sets for arithmetic and stationery for drawing and labor lessons were purchased.
It is to the ideal of a perfect man that everyone is called and can strive. In this we are helped not only by the environment that we choose, but also by the school. The task of the school is, along with knowledge, to instill in children kindness and spirituality.
In a video on his You Tube channel, Archpriest Gregory talks about the life of the school and its principles.
