Opening of the summer sports season 2019

The 2019 summer sports season opened with a mini-football and table tennis tournament. The tournament was held among the boarding schools of the Poltava region under the patronage of the PA "Pavlichenko Brothers Foundation".
04/29/19 on the basis of the IC Poltava Pedagogical University. V.G. Korolenko five teams from boarding schools of the Poltava region participated in mini-football competitions. Also from these teams were selected ten guys to participate in individual championship in table tennis.
The teams that acted on the field prudently, measured their strength and technical skills with the game situation, took into account the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy, and skillfully subordinated individual actions to collective and team tactics, showed the best results and took the following places:
I place was taken by the team of the Poltava specialized boarding school № 1;
II place at the Yakhnikivsk special boarding school of the Poltava region;
III place went to the team from the Maorshchinsky special boarding school.
Other teams showed no less interesting game, but, apparently, the guys didn’t have enough persistence and possession of tactics, therefore:
IV place at the team of Poltava specialized boarding school № 2, and
V place received Varvarovskaya special boarding school.
In the nomination "The Best Goalkeeper" won Juniy Igor (Mayorshchinskaya boarding school), "The best defender" was awarded to Karishin Mikhail (Yakhnikivskaya boarding school of Poltava region), "Best forward" in Khodyrev Timofey (Poltava boarding school № 1), prize "Spectator sympathies" went to the only girl participating Natalia Lunge (Varvarov boarding school).
The winning teams were awarded with medals, cups and certificates. All participants received gifts, souvenirs and sweets.
The guys were especially pleased with the gifts from the Chelsea football club. Regional teams got the balls. Calendars and posters were presented to all teams. In the nominations, participants received a backpack, scarves and key rings.
Two players from each team took part in the personal table tennis championship. Having shown special purposefulness, and possessing persistence, perseverance, endurance and decisiveness in competition with the enemy, the places among the participants were distributed as follows:
I place - Bogdan Udovichenko (Varvarov boarding school);
II place - Nazar Udovichenko (Varvarov boarding school);
III place - Biduha Vladimir (Mayorschinskaya boarding school);
The winners were awarded with cups, medals, certificates and souvenirs from Chelsea FC.
Sport is always great. Sports activities bring up volitional and moral qualities in children, strengthen their health and develop their personality, develop a sporting character, and eradicate shortcomings.
We wish the guys not to stop there and always strive for improvement.
