Right three minutes
It turns out that there is such an important rule - the “three minutes” rule. It works, both for spouses and for children. When parents in the family begin to fulfill this rule, they notice that it changes a lot in their relations for the better.
The rule of the “first three minutes” is to always meet a child with such great joy, as if meeting a friend whom we have not seen for many, many years. It does not matter if you returned from the store where you ran for bread, or came home from work. Usually, everything that the child wants to share with you, he “gives out” in the first minutes of the meeting, it is precisely in this that it is important not to miss this time.
You will immediately notice those parents who intuitively follow the “first three minutes” rule. For example, taking a child from school, they always crouch on the level of his eyes, hug at the meeting and say that they missed him. While other parents simply take the child by the hand, they say “go”, while talking on the phone.
Coming from work, immediately pay all attention to the child. You have a few minutes to sit next to him, ask about his bottom and listen. Then go to dinner and watch the news.
IMPORTANT NOT AMOUNT OF TIME, BUT EMOTIONAL NEARBY
Sometimes a few minutes of soulful conversation means much more to a baby than a whole day spent with you. The fact that we are always worried and anxious will not make our children happier, even if we believe that we are doing this for their sake and their well-being.
For parents and children, the expression “time together” has a different meaning. For adults, it’s enough that the children are just around them when they are doing something at home or going to the store. But for children the concept of “time together” is to look eye-to-eye, when parents sit down beside them, put aside their mobile phones, eliminate thoughts about hundreds of their problems, and are not at all distracted by other things. A child will never trust if he feels that there is something more important than his parents in priority at the time of intercourse.
Of course, parents do not always have time to play together with their children, but at such moments do only what the child wants. Do not offer him your options for free time. Time is transient, and you will not have time to come to your senses when your sons and daughters mature, so do not waste time and start building trust with them right now. Let the rule of “three minutes” be useful to you in this.
