The parable of the stone

Once God entrusted man with work.
He showed him a huge stone and said that the task of the person would push this stone with all his might.
And man did it day after day. From sunrise to sunset, for many years.
His shoulders rested against this cold stone, which did not budge. Every day a man returned home exhausted. But there was nothing to console himself.
Satan noticed that this man was depressed, and took advantage of this: “You have been pushing this stone for so long, but he did not move at all. Why are you killing yourself like that? You will never move him. ”
And the man was embarrassed, not knowing what to do next.
When God appeared to him, he said:
“My God, I served you long and hard, I put all my efforts into the assignment that you gave me.” So far, although so much time has passed, I have not moved this stone even by half a millimeter. What am I doing wrong? Why can't I do it?
Then God answered him:
“When I asked you to serve me, you agreed.” I told you to push the stone with all your strength - and you did it. I never said that I expect you to move him.
Look at you. Your shoulders have become strong and trained, your torso and arms have become stronger, and your legs have become more sturdy and muscular. Thanks to constant efforts, you have become stronger, and your capabilities today are far superior to those that you had before you started work.
Yes, you really did not move this stone from its place, but in the main I expected from you obedience, faith and hope in me. And you did it. And because now I am removing this stone.

When it seems like things are going wrong, just push!
When work depresses you, just push!
When people react differently than you expect, just push!
When the wallet is empty, and the bills must be paid, just push!
