Russian Madonna
Everyone in Zhirovitsy remembers this amazing event, where my son Peter serves at the Assumption Monastery in Belarus.
When during the Great Patriotic War the Germans stood in the monastery, in one of the temples they kept weapons, explosives, machine guns, machine guns. The warehouse manager was amazed when he saw a Woman dressed as a nun appear and said in German:
- Leave here, otherwise you will feel bad ...
He wanted to grab Her - nothing happened. She went into the church - and he went for her. I was amazed that She was not anywhere. I saw, heard that I went into the temple - but there is no Her. He felt uneasy, even scared. I reported to my commander, and he says:
- These are partisans, they are so clever! If it appears again, take it!
Gave him two soldiers. They waited, waited, and saw how She came out again, again saying the same words to the head of the military warehouse:
- Leave here, otherwise you will feel bad ...
And goes back to church. The Germans wanted to take Her - but could not even budge, as if they were magnetized. When She disappeared behind the doors of the temple, they rushed after Her, but again they did not find. The head of the warehouse again reported to his commander, he gave two more soldiers and said:
- If it appears, then shoot in the legs, just not kill - we will interrogate Her.
Dodgers are! And when they met Her for the third time, they started shooting at her legs. Bullets hit the legs, the mantle, and She walked as she walked, and nowhere is a drop of blood visible. A man would not have withstood such automatic bursts - he would have immediately fallen. Then they were intimidated. They reported to the commander, and he says:
- Russian Madonna ...
So they called the Queen of Heaven. They understood who told them to leave the desecrated temple in Her monastery. The Germans had to remove the weapons depot from the temple.
The Mother of God protected the Assumption Monastery from the bombing with her intercession. When our planes dropped bombs on the German units stationed in the monastery, bombs fell, but none exploded on the territory. And then, when the Nazis were driven away and Russian soldiers settled in the monastery, the German pilot, who bombed this territory twice, saw that the bombs had fallen for sure, and exploded everywhere - except for the monastery territory.
When the war ended, this pilot came to the monastery to understand what kind of territory this was, what kind of place he bombed twice - and the bomb never exploded. And this place is fertile. It is prayed for, so the Lord did not allow the island of faith to be destroyed. And if we were all believers - all our mother Russia, Ukraine and Belarus - then no bomb would take us, no one! And "bombs" with spiritual contagion would not cause harm either.
