Secret dream

This story happened to a school teacher. It all happened when, having come home, the teacher of Russian language and literature opened another notebook to check her homework. At some point, she put her head in her hands, emotions overwhelmed her whole being, she could no longer hold back her tears, she could not utter a word, crying choked her, this was the moment when time stopped. Her husband was nearby and seemed to be abstracted from everything, he was on his phone, nothing, it would seem, could distract him from this process. But turning his head and seeing his wife in such a state, he, being perplexed, did not dare to ask the question “What is happening?”.
Without removing the phone and not taking his eyes off the display, after some time, he still asked what caused this behavior. Raising her tear-stained eyes, the wife looked at her husband and said that she was now checking the homework of her students - a small essay on the topic “My innermost dream?”. The husband, perplexed and noting to himself the strange behavior of his wife, without much interest and participation, nevertheless continued the conversation to find out what caused such a violent reaction. The wife replied that the last essay turned her whole world upside down. Putting the phone aside, the husband asked for more details, some excitement appeared on his face, and he became interested in the very essay that brought his wife to such a state and asked to read it. The essay was as follows: “My most cherished dream is to be the phone of my parents. My mom and dad are very fond of phones, they are their favorite devices, they spend so much time with them, I see how they share everything with the phone. Communication with me does not give them such pleasure, they may not notice me for hours. When I ask my dad to play some game with me, he says not today, because it was a hard day and he was very tired. But I see how he picks up his phone and all the fatigue passes, he can sit like that for hours.
When my mother is busy with her own affairs, but she knows that I have been waiting for more than an hour, when she will give me some time and suddenly the phone rings, she forgets about me. And will not interrupt the conversation even if I cry. My parents read, play games, they care and value their phones very much. They do not notice all my requests to be together, because there are more important things on the phone than me. When I ask my mother to talk to me because I want to tell her something important, she always says that it’s a little later, that she’s very busy right now, and she has a phone in her hands. So I want to become a phone so I can be close to my beloved parents.”
The wife finished reading and looked at her husband, she did not expect such a reaction, he was excited and pain was read in his eyes, he empathized with this little boy. The husband looked at his wife and said, "I wish I could hug this guy right now." The wife raised her eyes, red from tears, and answered:
"You can do it right now - our son wrote it."
