Archimandrite Flavian - is the beloved pastor, the true protector of the Orthodox faith and its Church, and just a good friend, made his last journey.
Since childhood, when he fell in love with God, he carried a bright flame of the faith through the whole life: "God called me into the Church when I was eight-year-old boy, and I fell in love with the Church at first sight. Nothing has changed after twenty years - I'm in love with it; everything what is connected with the Church makes me happy and inspire! »
His words lit the hearts, and many people, inspired by his life, followed Flavian's example: "Our straength is only in the union of souls and hearts, only standing in the Truth made us stronger and inspires us all together". "On 2018 New Year's Eve, there were so many people in our church in the Divine Liturgy, and the most important is that those people were fellows and young people. It is a special joy! In spite of the secularity of the world, Christ's deed lives, and Divine grace acts in the world, calling human hearts to the salvation ship - the Church of God. More and more people are rushing to this salvation ship, more and more human's souls beings want to become the participants of the Most Sacred Sacrament of this world - the Divine Liturgy. "
With joyful, confident and swift steps he walked his life way and all the talents he received he gave to the ministry of the Church and people: "Happiness is when you ask nothing from God, but only thank Him for all the great and indescribable blessings. The greatest benefit and joy in life for me is to serve the Holy Church. There is no more joy in the world than the joy of serving God and people. "
His almost thirty-year-work was full of life energy, and in the difficult moments his hope was only a prayer: "We force life so often, so often we are sorry for trifles, so often give way to emotions. But you just need to endure a little, and then take a wise, devoid of pride and emotion, decision. When a lump in the throat, when anger overcomes, and the image does not allow us to breathe freely, we recall: "we have to suffer a little." "When a person moves towards his goal, and our goal is God, he never argues, never prove something to someone. Head forward, up - everything else will disappear by itself !!! »
It is believed that Father Flavian returned home, to God's House, where he wanted to during all his life. And in his "Farewell Word" he repeatedly testifies to love for God and asked us to pray for him: "I do not regret to go away, because of this I can escape my sins ... Throughout my life I did not doubt the omniscience of the Trinity, and most of all in life I have always loved  the Holy Church ... I lived a happy life. I do not regret anything except the sins committed. I ask all of you to pray, so that God may show me his bounty in court. "
